После пятнадцати лет разработки и тестирования авторы Wine представили публике финальную версию своего детища. К данному релизу были устранены все критичные баги, а также достигнута возможность полноценной работы с такими приложениями как Adobe Photoshop CS2/3, Powerpoint Viewer, Word Viewer и Excel Viewer из пакетов MS Office 97 и 2003.

- Moto Racer 2 works with wine 0.9.60 and crashes with wine 0.9.61.

Wine — альтернативная свободная реализация Windows API, позволяющая запускать программы для Windows, в том числе и игры, под GNU/Linux, FreeBSD и Solaris. Основное преимущество Wine перед эмуляторами и виртуальными машинами заключается в отсутствии необходимости иметь в наличии саму ОС Windows, хотя, если есть необходимость, можно использовать её библиотеки.
